College Pledge

There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought, in this substance, produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. Koyoyo can form things in it's thought, and, by impressing it's thought upon formless substance, can cause the thing we think about to be created. In order to do this, Koyoyo must pass from the competitive to the creative mind; we must form a clear mental picture of the things we want, and hold this picture in our thoughts with the fixed purpose to get what we want, and the unwavering faith that we do get what we want, closing our mind to all that may tend to shake our purpose, dim our vision or quench our faith. That we may receive what we want when it comes, Koyoyo must ACT NOW.

Standard Code of Conduct

General Conduct

All members of the college community are expected to treat each other with respect and dignity.

Respect and Dignity: Discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
Integrity: Honesty and integrity are fundamental. Plagiarism, cheating, and any form of academic dishonesty are strictly prohibited.
Compliance with Laws: All individuals must comply with local, state, and federal laws, as well as college policies and regulations.

Academic Conduct

Upholding honesty and engagement in all academic pursuits.

Classroom Behavior: Students are expected to attend classes regularly, participate actively, and respect the instructor and fellow students.
Academic Honesty: All assignments, exams, and projects must be completed with honesty. Any form of cheating or plagiarism will result in disciplinary action.
Use of Resources: College resources, including libraries and laboratories, must be used responsibly. Misuse or damage to these resources is prohibited.

Information Technology Use

Adhering to responsible and ethical use of college technology and networks.

Acceptable Use Policy: Students must adhere to the college's IT Acceptable Use Policy.
Cybersecurity: Protecting personal and institutional data is a shared responsibility. Students must not engage in activities that compromise cybersecurity, such as hacking or spreading malware.
Digital Conduct: Online communication should be respectful and professional. Cyberbullying, harassment, and inappropriate content are prohibited on all college platforms.

Campus Behavior

Maintaining a safe, healthy, and well-maintained physical campus environment.

Campus Safety: All community members are responsible for maintaining a safe campus environment. This includes reporting suspicious activities and adhering to safety protocols.
Substance Use: The use of illegal drugs, alcohol, and tobacco on campus is strictly prohibited.
Facilities Use: College facilities should be respected and used appropriately. Vandalism, theft, or unauthorized access to college property will result in disciplinary action.

Disciplinary Actions

A transparent process for investigation, consequences, and appeals.

Investigation and Reporting: Any violations of the Code of Conduct will be investigated thoroughly. Students and staff are encouraged to report any breaches of conduct to the administration.
